"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." - Martin Luther King Jr.
Every year, darkness takes over 30,000 lives in the United States. The most frequently cited risk factor for suicide is a mental health condition. Feelings of hopelessness and isolation can drive the most vulnerable to act out of desperation. As we shed light and bring individuals hope, we remember the lives of Lorraine Selin Morris, Martin Yoshioka and Christopher Hill. Join Circle of Friends for Mental Health as you Stampede over the Stigma surrounding mental illness and suicide.
Registration fee day of race is $30. Begins at 11:30 AM and lasts until 12:45 PM.
